Video 5: Offers

This video is a simple walkthrough and overview of the 'Offers' section of a Landlord's PropertyLoop account.

When a tenant expresses interest in your rental property, PropertyLoop offers a streamlined way to manage and respond to offers directly through your landlord account. The platform is designed to make this process simple, organized, and transparent for all parties involved.

As a landlord, you’ll receive a notification when a tenant submits an offer. This offer will appear in the "Offers" section of your PropertyLoop account. Each offer will typically include key details such as the proposed rent amount, the tenant’s desired move-in date, and any additional notes they may have added. This allows you to easily assess the suitability of the offer before making a decision.

You have full control over how to respond. There are three main actions available: accept, decline, or make a counter-offer. If you're happy with the terms, you can accept the offer and move forward with the next steps. If the offer isn’t suitable, you can decline it directly on the platform without needing to contact the tenant personally. Alternatively, you can submit a counter-offer suggesting different terms, such as a higher rent or a different move-in date. The tenant will be notified and can respond accordingly.

Once both parties agree on the terms, PropertyLoop will take care of the rest. The platform handles tenant referencing, right-to-rent checks, contract generation, and the collection of deposits and rent payments. Everything is managed within the PropertyLoop system, ensuring compliance with legal standards and saving time.

All communication, decisions, and updates are logged within your account, giving you a clear and secure record of the entire negotiation process. This helps protect you legally and keeps things transparent between you and prospective tenants.

Overall, PropertyLoop’s offer system helps landlords manage tenant proposals professionally and efficiently, while ensuring every step is documented and compliant.
