Sometimes, AMC will not find a Google street view link automatically. In these instances, you can add one manually.
To create a starting point for a Google Street View link that you can add to your AMC property listing, follow these steps:
- Open Google Maps: Go to the Google Maps website.
- Find the Property: Enter the address of the property in the search bar and press enter.
- Switch to Street View: Drag the little yellow man (located in the bottom right corner of the screen) to the street in front of the property. This will switch the view to Street View.
- Adjust the View: Navigate and adjust the Street View to get the exact perspective you want to share.
- Get the Link: Click on the three dots in the upper left corner of the Street View screen, then select “Share or embed image”. A popup will appear.
- Copy the Link: In the popup, make sure you are in the “Share link” tab. Click ‘Copy link’ to copy the URL to your clipboard.
Now, you have the Google Street View link that points directly to the view you set up. You can paste this link in AMC to provide a direct view of the property.
